Secret Exhibition
Secret Exhibition is a merchandise display hall created for the National Museum of China. The 460 square meter space combines digital art with inherited Chinese aesthetics. Island-like booths with flowing shapes present cultural and creative products, so visitors tour the goods like an exhibition rather than a store. A customized media surface links the physical surface and the virtual interface, while an augmented reality program adds a parallel digital layer. Seven selected exhibits inspired a moving river of Chinese characters shown on a screen.
