Wild

This is the second transformation of an old Nanjing restaurant brand, dividing the original single-function space into two independently operated parts: the restaurant and the whiskey bar. The restaurant shows a camping atmosphere in nature, with original materials and green plants as the main elements. The bar is what the designer imagined the bar would look like after humans moved to their new home a hundred years later. The restaurant is open during the day and the bar starts at night. The Grandeur

Inspired from ribbon dance, when entering the abode, guests are greeted by a carefully arranged visual art installation. A frame-like partition is placed between the main entrance and the dining; thus, has created an illusion that the art painting (dining area) and the screen partition (foyer) are one single unit. As such, the art painting serves as a decorative piece for both the foyer and the dining. Subtle bronze detailing wraps around the ceiling, and connects with the bespoke cabinet and the floor-to-ceiling screen to create a hotel-like luxurious interior.

Gallery Crossroad

Gallery Crossroad is a culture hub for photography lovers, revamped from an idle house. Image reviews depend on the perspective and self experience of viewers. In order not to interfere with the viewer thinking, cyclorama walls, seen at the textured checkerboard storefront and interior space, diminishes accessibility and allows people to see the full frame. Steel wireframe shelving, from columns to ceilings, is functional for hanging pieces, and its arch form visually extends the building depth. A translucent hollow-board screen suffuses an indistinct glow, resonant with surrealist ambiances.
