Luxury Whispers

Luxury Whispers is a residential interior design for a 168 square meter home in Taipei City, Taiwan. Materials include large format tiles, marble, titanium coated panels, fluted glass and natural wood veneer. Layered indirect lighting creates a warm atmosphere.

Red Brick

Red Brick is a hotel interior at Qinglong Mountain, created through the adaptive reuse of an old wharf. Reclaimed red clay bricks form a light permeable screen instead of a solid wall. The bricks are perforated and held by a concealed stainless steel system, so no wet mortar is used on the facade. Daylight passes through the small openings and casts changing patterns on the interior surfaces. The dry assembly protects the fragile bricks, reduces water use and allows later disassembly. The project reuses heritage material as an active building element.
