Heting Barbecue

Heting Barbecue is a restaurant and bar interior located on the third floor of a commercial building in Jinan. The 360 square meter space combines barbecue dining, an izakaya, a music restaurant and a bar. Wood, stone, light and shadow are arranged in an architectural manner, creating varied views within a limited area. A dislocated background wall stands at the center of the dining area, where lighting reveals contrasts between different material surfaces. Old green bricks recall the historic character of the city.

Sunac Emerald Coast

Sunac Emerald Coast is a sales and experience center for a coastal property development in Wenzhou, China. The 4000 square meter interior contains a 1300 square meter sales space, a 2150 square meter life experience space and a 550 square meter auxiliary space. Independent functional areas are linked by a fluid circulation route, and each area has its own atmosphere. An ocean theme guides the design, with marine animal motifs used as decoration. Beige stone outlines the main structure, handmade glass bricks with rippled texture recall water, and the main hall ceiling is clad in LED panels.

Shin Tay Yuan is a tourism factory interior for a ceramic decal company in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The design uses factory materials. A punched plate is seen at the entrance. The concept comes from screen printing, an important tool in the decal process, which is also applied to hanging partitions and the signage system. In ceramic factories, utensils are stacked on wooden boards for easy handling, and the scene is transformed into the counter. The company history is shown through images instead of long texts. The space explains the ceramic decal industry to visitors.

New Century Magic Hotel

New Century Magic

New Century Magic is a hotel interior design for families in Zhejiang, China. The project covers 9000 square meters and was completed in June 2019. The lobby and corridors use bright colors and playful forms inspired by a tube game played by Chinese children. A tubular device with openings at different heights invites both adults and children to take part, and it also conceals cables. Children reach the upper floors through tree houses and slides, while adults use elevators. The guest rooms stay calm and simple, so the hotel also suits business travelers.

Cloud Residence Sales Center

Cloud Residence

Cloud Residence is a sales center interior covering 800 square meters. The design takes the rhythm of the ancient city as its theme. Vertical metal lines form the base of the space and recall the character of an ancient walled city. White rhythmic lines wind around the metal lines and open the space towards the sand table area. The white lines are made of GRG, an economical material, and are finished with glossy art paint that shows subtle gradations of light and shade. Curved forms link the interior with the architecture and the landscape.
