Light In Dark

This design uses a grey black palette to create spaciousness in a small unit. Storage is integrated through glass doors, a raised platform, and combination cabinet, while each room has independent lighting, breaking the single light limitation. Inspired by light in dark, amber accents add warmth. The layered lighting system adapts to different activities and times of day. Every material was chosen for its tactile quality. Challenges included avoiding dark tone oppression and balancing storage with openness. Fabrication combines carpentry and metalwork with a smart panel for scene modes.

Serenity

Serenity is a two-story residential interior with a total floor area of about 158 square meters. An open plan layout connects the living, dining, and kitchen areas around a sculptural glass staircase. Large-format porcelain tiles measuring 1200 by 2100 millimeters cover the floor, and glossy and matte finishes help define the entrance, living room, and dining area. The cabinetry is custom built in matte lacquer with recessed handles. Linear LED lighting is set into ceiling coves and shelf grooves. The staircase separates the public and private areas.

Timber Shadow

Timber Shadow is a residential interior design for a 56.2 square meter apartment in Taipei. The layout is open plan, with curved walls that link the kitchen island to the living area. Rhythmic vertical slats of custom-milled dark oak line the walls and soften spatial boundaries. Surfaces are finished with hand-applied mineral coatings in understated golden undertones, and the floor is laid with chevron oak. Concealed cabinetry with 10 mm shadow gaps and indirect 3000K LED lighting keep the compact home calm and free of clutter.

Suhe Century is a showroom designed as a residential interior in China. The 498 square meter space is divided into a ceremonial entrance, social areas, family zones, and private retreats, linked by continuous circulation. Velvet, marble, metal, and gilded textures are combined with custom designed furniture. Integrated lighting supports each function and unifies the layout. The entrance presents textured wall art, a cloud patterned console, and marble elements. A modular sofa and a round table anchor the main gathering area. The design combines modern luxury with oriental elegance.

Flex Haven

Flex Haven is a residential interior design for a family apartment. The design balances play and function within an adaptable layout. The slide unit follows a block-inspired form, and the stairs retract to become flush storage or a hideout. A ceiling track allows later conversion into a storage room. Three zones separate the parents and children areas while keeping a shared family space, so the home suits changing needs.

Ethereal Form is an aesthetic surgery clinic interior located within the Clock Tower in Beverly Hills. The 2,000 square foot space is defined by sculpted microcement surfaces, plaster fins and bronze painted millwork. Curved partitions guide patients from the reception area to the consultation rooms. Layered lighting is integrated within architectural details to reveal texture and form. Custom base cabinetry, plumbing and electrical systems support daily clinical use. The interior aims to reduce anxiety in a medical environment through soft light and warm materials.

BWL Taichung

Bwl Taichung is a showroom and workplace set across two floors of a commercial building in Taichung. The interior covers 11,300 square feet and combines a wellness focused retail hub with a contemporary work environment. Fluted joinery, sculptural forms and biophilic features refer to Taiwanese temple architecture. A meandering brass floor inlay and a continuous ceiling light line guide visitors from retail areas to consultation and event spaces. Materials include FSC certified timber, low VOC finishes and recyclable components.

Orient Original is a residential interior design for a 500 square meter home in Beijing, China. A sunlit underground atrium forms the center of the plan, linking two lower levels and blurring the boundary between above and below ground. Velaria is a two-storey private residence in Penang, Malaysia, with a built-up area of 4800 square feet. A central bar anchors social gatherings, and views towards the pool support a calm, hotel like atmosphere. Custom millwork, bespoke furniture and integrated lighting systems were used. A floating staircase with motion lighting connects the two levels.

Rodeo Aviara is a vegan cafe and restaurant set within a luxury retail setting in Beverly Hills, California. Modular millwork is machine fabricated, and low emission coatings and mineral based wall finishes are applied. Burk Residence is a private cottage interior design created for a lakefront site in Ontario, Canada. Timber construction and premium finishes support year-round use in a remote setting. A large deck with a canopy, a sauna, a gym and a cinema extend the living areas. The layout guides guests smoothly between quiet rooms, wellness spaces and outdoor gathering areas.
