Interwoven Layers

Interwoven Layers is a residential interior design completed in Taipei in 2019. Open and penetrating elements let air and light pass through the interior, while materials and colors define both ends of the axis. A wide metal-plate ceiling slides beneath a traversing structural beam and becomes the visual focus of the corridor. Rusted metalwork, painted surfaces and an art collection add an artistic atmosphere.
